Responsibilities & Context:

  • Lead end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, allowances, bonuses, incentives, deductions, reconciliations, payroll funding, and payment execution in coordination with Finance.

  • Ensure payroll compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, statutory requirements, internal controls, governance standards, and manage statutory deductions including income tax, provident fund (PF), and other applicable contributions while maintaining audit-ready documentation and supporting internal/external audits.

  • Support administration and payroll integration of employee benefits including allowances, reimbursements, insurance, incentives, PF, end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and other entitlements while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

  • Coordinate closely with C&B, HR Operations, HRBP, Finance, Compliance teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll execution, policy alignment, timely communication, salary surveys, pay scale reviews, and employee-focused insurance policy evaluations.

  • Support employee income tax processes, statutory documentation, authority coordination, and address employee queries related to payroll, deductions, taxation, benefits, and final settlements in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records, ERP data, statutory reports, management dashboards, confidentiality standards, and ensure integrity and accuracy of all payroll-related information.

  • Manage end-to-end Group Life Insurance (GLI) administration including onboarding, renewals, coverage updates, employee enrollment, beneficiary records, premium reconciliation, payroll linkage, claims support, policy compliance, documentation, timely payments, and periodic policy reviews aligned with organizational needs and market best practices.

  • Undertake and lead special projects, strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and ad-hoc assignments assigned by the CHRO aligned with organizational and business goals.
