Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Development Studies/ Economics/ Sociology/ Business Administration/ Development Policy or any other relevant subject from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop 'Empowering the RMG workers living in urban slums of Dhaka' project's partnership strategy and plan for partnership management and referral system development
∎ Ensure formal partnerships and MOUs with RMG factories, BGMEA, BKMEA, Textile Mills Association of Bangladesh etc.
∎ Network and liaise with private, national and multi-national RMG industries for the job placement of the skilled labor and ensured partnership for referral services.
∎ Maintain close coordination with related BRAC programmes to ensure coordinated service delivery by One Stop Service Center(OSSC)
∎ Develop and maintain partnership with Institute of Health Economics, DU; Department of Family Planning, MOH&FW, ILO Better Work Bd. BRAC IED for community base play lab cum day care, BRAC Institute of Global Development to provide training for local Gov. officials, Maya App for online services, Guardian LI for DPS plus health insurance.
∎ Dialogue/roundtable discussion at Town level and national level. Organize learning sharing workshops at national level.
∎ Partnership and advocacy plan develop to disseminate success and failure stories. Try to build multi stake partnership for BRIDGE affiliation.
∎ Develop partnership mechanism between the land lords and UDP, so that they can also get potential tenants for their house
∎ Maintain close communication and network with relevant stakeholders at local, national and international levels
∎ Work with the M&E team to develop appropriate indicators and monitoring tools to monitor and evaluate partnership and job matching system
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in a relevant position in any local or national NGO. Preference given to those who have proven track record of working in partnership management with multi-level stakeholders including the government of Bangladesh, RMG industries/ BGMEA.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Have sound knowledge about the private sector engagement, business inclusion, policy compliance issues of RMG sectors, labor rights and law, policy advocacy in the area of RMG sector
∎ Have Sound knowledge about the national and international laws, regulations about labor rights as well as compliance issue and understanding of the RMG sector development scenario and challenges in the context of Bangladesh
∎ Ability to communicate, negotiate and develop relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization, in a professional and ethical manner
∎ Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
∎ Excellent management and organizing skills
∎ Documentation, facilitation and reporting skills
∎ Public speaking and motivation/persuasion skills
∎ Demonstrated partnership or relationship management skills
∎ Ability to work autonomously with highly developed problem solving capacity
∎ Have adaptability, self-motivated, ability to plan and manage work independently, commitment to learning, developing skills and sharing knowledge and information, ability to adapt to change.
