Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise activities of merchandisers.
∎ Monitor progress & development of merchandising activities.
∎ Trouble shoot for any merchandising related problem.
∎ Foresee problem & take necessary measures.
∎ Follow up on routine activities.
∎ Update Management for any problem or progress.
∎ Ensure proper co-ordination among Merchandising, Production, Sample & Commercial departments.
∎ Communicate clearly & promptly to customers.
∎ Actively supervise all important work related to pricing, sampling & sourcing.
∎ Train & supervise merchandisers.
∎ Set goals for merchandisers & evaluate their performance against their respective targets.
∎ Check product specification details & explain to others.
∎ Participate in product development meeting.
∎ Market products to other potential customers.
∎ Ensure timely update of website & on social media.
∎ Negotiate price with suppliers.
∎ Determine suitable supplier with best price, quality & delivery offer.
∎ Attend meeting with customers for price negotiation & periodic updates.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 year(s) as Manager, Merchandising.
∎ Experience in ladies tops & blouse will be given preference.
∎ Proficient in spoken & in written English.
∎ Prompt emailing & Microsoft Word & Excel is a must.
∎ Willing to work in a challenging environment.
∎ Multi-tasking & able to work under pressure.
∎ Proactive & self-driven.
Salary: Negotiable
