Experience:
Suggest the right factory for the right product and participate in the factory selection process from sample stage.
Review new tech packs and developments to identify any critical points and provide the right details to the factory.
Take the list of daily issues from each order for each factory and address the problems.
Recommend any changes to the products or process improvements, which can help make production friendlier for knitting/linking/construction without changing the aesthetics of the garment.
Ensure all customer requirements are met in production based on customer tech packs.
Book production space with factories in advance and maintain capacity utilization chart which is to be updated at all times.
Select and visit different production, printing, and embroidery factories and build long-term relationships for future orders.
Evaluate factory performance regularly, give feedback to the Team Leader concerning factory issues and recommending solutions.
Ensure quick decision making by involving the Team Leader / Quality Manager on critical issues.
Source and develop new factories as per requirements and regularly introduce new products, new yarns, new factories to the team.
Analyze customer progress reports in terms of growth/shortcomings/product and price points, get customer feedback on orders and close the orders with clarity on cost/ margin.
Ensure all customer emails are answered and all actions have been taken promptly.
Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.
