• Jacket/Outerwear construction (puffer, parka, softshell, hardshell)

• Costing and analytical ability

1. Buyer & Order Management

• Handle international buyers for Jacket/outerwear programs

• Develop strong relationships and ensure clear communication

• Negotiate price, MOQ, and delivery timelines

• Manage order confirmation and contract review

2. Product Development

• Review tech packs and buyer requirements

• Coordinate sample development (proto, fit, PP, size set)

• Work closely with design, sample, and technical teams

• Ensure Jacket/outerwear-specific requirements:

  • Padding / insulation (down, synthetic)

  • Waterproof / water-resistant features

  • Seam sealing, bonding, lamination

3. Costing & Pricing

• Prepare accurate costing (fabric, trims, CM, wash, special processes)

• Optimize cost without compromising quality

• Monitor margin and profitability

4. Production Follow-up

• Coordinate with production, planning, and IE teams

• Ensure smooth bulk production for jackets

• Monitor T&A (Time & Action) calendar

• Track shipment deadlines and ensure on-time delivery

5. Sourcing & Material Management

• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories (local & import)

• Ensure correct material for outerwear:

  • Coated/laminated fabric

  • Down/feather or synthetic filling

  • Waterproof zippers & trims

• Follow up on lab dips, approvals, and bulk readiness

6. Quality & Compliance Coordination

• Work with QA team to meet buyer quality standards

• Ensure all approvals before bulk production

• Coordinate inspections (inline, final, third-party)

7. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor merchandising team

• Allocate buyers/orders effectively

• Monitor team performance and development

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain order files, approvals, and shipment documents

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements
