Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor preferably in Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Economics/ Social Science/ Mathematics or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university.

∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Performing monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning related activities on a regular basis to track the project`s set indicators, logframe (LF) indicators and Value for Money (VfM) indicators of the EMDC project and also to help in planning, policy making and implementing the EMDC project. It is the regular observation and recording of activities taking place in the programme. Monitoring is also the process of routinely gathering, analyzing information of the programme and sharing how project activities are progressing. The findings of monitoring and MIS reports are used in making decisions for improving programme quality.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing the MEAL plan based on the set activities, LF and VFM of the project.
∎ Preparing monitoring checklist /questionnaires, processing and analyzing data for preparing high quality monitoring report on regular basis as per MEAL plan by ensuring the quality of the data and share with partners, stakeholders within and outside of BRAC.
∎ Work closely with the implementation team and BEP's central M&E/MEAL team to understand the implementation progress, identify the root cause of any deviation to improve the quality of the activities.
∎ Building capacity of field-based monitoring officers on Monitoring tools /formats, accurate data collection techniques and supervising data collection activities at the field level for ensuring quality of the data to support at best.
∎ Proactively identify the areas of continuous improvement of the MEAL system of the project, prepare report for donor and capture/generate evidence for advocacy.
