To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department.
To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase product sales. Also to use marketing and visual techniques to ensure customer attraction.
The Candidate must have sound knowledge on all types of yarns, trims and accessories.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
Team Player/Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
Should have good experience on sweater Marketing.
Must have a good connection with renowned customers - local Buying agents & Overseas Buyers - to run the business independently in fulfillment of prevailing factory capacity.
Must have the capacity to onboard new buyers and expand business in New Market locations/countries.
Orders obtained need to have minimum CM standard levels • Keeping close follow up within team regarding all kind of Development & Production Sampling and ensure submission as per buyer`s dead line.
Have a strong sourcing bases and knowledge about procuring materials in the most cost-effective sources ensuring right product quality.
Monitoring the production & follow-up all the Shipment scheduled. Close liaise with Planning, Coordination, Technical and Compliance Team for completing respective tasks properly.
Have knowledge on production planning, material planning and machinery planning.
Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to General Manager on all ongoing activities and issues.
Setting up short term and long term marketing goals in terms of quantity and profitability which will be vetted by the management.
Responsible for all merchandising activities.
Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
Strong ability on Supply chain/Backward linkage management.
Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products.
Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
To Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time.
Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer.
Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.
