Job Context:
∎ As the Manager of a Holidays Agency, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and overall performance of the agency, including the efficient processing of visas for clients. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional holiday planning and booking services, ensuring their satisfaction and creating memorable experiences. The agency specializes in offering a wide range of holiday packages, including domestic and international destinations, luxury travel, adventure trips, and customized itineraries.
∎ Your role as Manager will involve strategic planning, business development, staff management, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and ensuring efficient visa processing for clients. You will work closely with the agency`s owners and stakeholders to develop and implement growth strategies, set performance goals, and ensure profitability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leadership and Team Management:
∎ Provide strong leadership to the agency team, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
∎ Set performance targets, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
∎ Support staff development through coaching, training, and mentoring.
∎ Business Development and Growth:
∎ Develop and execute strategies to expand the agency's client base and increase revenue.
∎ Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.
∎ Client Relationship Management:
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their holiday preferences, and anticipating their needs.
∎ Ensure prompt and personalized service delivery to exceed client expectations.
∎ Handle escalated client issues and provide effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction.
∎ Efficient Visa Processing:
∎ Establish streamlined processes and procedures for visa application and processing.
∎ Liaise with embassies, consulates, and visa service providers to ensure accurate and timely visa processing.
∎ Keep up-to-date with visa requirements, regulations, and changes in immigration policies.
∎ Operational Efficiency:
∎ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, including bookings, reservations, and travel arrangements.
∎ Implement efficient processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
∎ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements.
∎ Financial Management:
∎ Develop and manage the agency's budget, forecasting revenue and expenses.
∎ Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-effective measures.
∎ Analyze sales data, pricing strategies, and market trends to optimize profitability.
∎ Marketing and Promotion:
∎ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns and marketing materials.
∎ Utilize various marketing channels to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
∎ Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
∎ Supplier Relationship Management:
∎ Identify, establish, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including hotels, airlines, transportation companies, and tour operators.
∎ Negotiate favorable contracts, rates, and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality services.
∎ Monitor supplier performance, address any issues, and seek continuous improvement.

∎ Age at least 25 years

∎ Leadership and Management Skills: As a manager, strong leadership and management skills are crucial. This includes the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team, set goals, provide guidance and feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
∎ In addition to the requirements mentioned earlier, a Holidays Travel Agent Manager should possess specific knowledge about tourist visa processing and tour operations. Here are the additional knowledge requirements for the role:
∎ Tourist Visa Processing:
∎ In-depth understanding of the visa application and processing procedures for various countries.
∎ Knowledge of visa requirements, documentation, and application forms specific to different destinations.
∎ Familiarity with visa application submission processes, appointment scheduling, and biometric data collection.
∎ Awareness of visa processing timeframes, including expedited processing options.
∎ Understanding of visa refusal reasons and the ability to provide guidance and assistance to clients in case of visa rejections or additional documentation requests.
∎ Knowledge of visa categories, such as tourist visas, business visas, student visas, and visa-free travel provisions.
∎ Awareness of visa fee structures and payment methods.
∎ Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills are necessary for ensuring client satisfaction. The manager should have a customer-oriented mindset, the ability to handle client inquiries and concerns, and the skills to provide personalized and high-quality service.
∎ Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are important for effective internal and external communication. The manager should be able to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and suppliers.
∎ Sales and Business Development: A good understanding of sales principles and the ability to drive business growth is essential. Experience in sales, developing client relationships, and identifying business opportunities is valuable for a travel agency manager.
