Job Context:
∎ Working under the supervision of Group CFO
∎ Designation: FAVP/AVP

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing Financial Statements of the Bank and its subsidiaries according to the Bangladesh Bank guidelines, International Accounting Standards (IAS) & International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other applicable laws and regulations.
∎ Preparation of monthly accounts of the Bank & subsidiaries and various analysis of financial performance along with reasoning.
∎ Review of Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account (PL) and Statement of Affairs (SOA) on regular basis.
∎ Creation of new GL Heads and mapping the accounting flow with the Profit & Loss Account (PL) and Statement of Affairs (SOA) based on the requirements of business divisions.
∎ To prepare all the reports related to the financial statements as per requirements of Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) and other regulatory authorities.
∎ To attend the queries of Internal Auditors, External Auditors, Bangladesh Bank Inspection Teams and all other audits and provide them with required documents and compliance reports.
∎ All other assignments as per requirement of the Group Finance

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Minimum 7 years work experience (including CA Training Period of 3 years) in financial reporting under Finance Division of a Bank.
∎ Adequate knowledge in International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards, Bangladesh Bank Regulations, Tax laws applicable in Bangladesh, and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission’s Regulations & guidelines.
