Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
- To succeed, candidate need to be qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience of managing accounts, banking and commercial aspects, ideally within the retail-goods, wholesale supply and multi-company environment.
- Fluent in English and working knowledge of SAP (ECC 6 or HANA) is a must.
- This is a busy and varied role and therefore the successful candidate will be able to multi-task, prioritise and meet strict deadlines whilst having excellent attention to detail.
- Furthermore, need to have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
Responsibilities & Context:
Day-to-day bookkeeping, hands-on managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury functions.
Support the integration and development of SAP for new verticals.
Ensure timely and accurate financial (MIS) reporting on a monthly and annual basis as per the group standards.
Monitor and control monthly business performance against budget and forecast and liaise with key stakeholders to deliver targets.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes and support the CFO as needed.
Assist the vertical CEO's and CFO with managing supplier contracts (e.g. rent, utilities), equipment leasing/purchasing and negotiation with suppliers.
Ensure that the PDS Group policies are implemented and followed in all existing and new verticals.
Work closely with the Group Finance, Treasury and Audit teams.9. UK VAT / tax compliance.
