∎ Working in a Managerial position for at least 2 years.
∎ Candidate must be willing to travel abroad to meet with buyers for Design & Development.
∎ Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Be able to cope with pressure, flexible and adaptable.
∎ Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
∎ Well conversant with IT equipment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic talent as a Manager - Fashion Design & Product Development experienced in Sweater and Woven Garments Design & Development for our factory; Oxford Shirts Ltd. and D&S Pretty Fashions Ltd.
∎ Job location will be Salna, Gazipur.
∎ Lead a Design Team of Woven Shirt & Sweater for Fashion Design and Product Development.
∎ Sourcing from a new inquiry till final order placement including all sealing processes.
∎ Market research, Sample collection/shopping based on Clients’ Benchmarks & Competitors.
∎ Well-traveled, attend buyer meetings, road shows, conferences, and design fairs regularly.
∎ Globally product library ensures capabilities, strength & better overview in front of a wide client range based on that.
∎ Shopping and research keep updated with ongoing global trends, fabrics, embellishment techniques, trims & accessories.
∎ Ensures smooth communication with clients abroad.
∎ As per buyer schedule create and maintain Yearly Design Calendar.
∎ For new business development support to the Marketing team as well as product to show buyer presentation & Visual Merchandising.
∎ Day-to-day task review with the team and help them to make action plans.
∎ Educate and guide the merchandising and marketing teams on upcoming trends and fashion products for their better understanding and handling of the clients.
∎ Continuously upgrading buyer relations by sharing the latest trend research and collections keeping their product portfolio and end customer in mind.
∎ Team status and performance update to top management on a regular basis.
∎ Performing any other assignment as assigned by the top management.
