Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EHS/QA-QC, preferably in solar, electrical, EPC, or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, quality management systems, and rooftop solar installation practices.
Additional certifications in HSE, NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 are often preferred.
Experience in solar EPC, renewable energy, construction, or electrical projects.
Develop and implement EQS policies, procedures, and management systems.
Ensure compliance with legal, client, and company requirements related to safety, quality, and environmental management.
Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and drive continuous improvement.
Quality Management
Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
Ensure solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and other materials meet project specifications.
Conduct inspections and audits during installation and commissioning.
Monitor project quality KPIs and implement corrective actions.
Health & Safety Management
Develop and enforce site safety plans and safe work procedures.
Conduct risk assessments for rooftop work, electrical activities, lifting operations, and working at heights.
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations and ISO 45001 requirements.
Site Audits & Compliance
Conduct regular HSE and quality audits across project sites.
Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with EQS requirements.
Maintain documentation, permits, inspection records, and compliance reports.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies during inspections.
