Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc in Veterinary science/ Animal Husbandry from any recognised educational institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute in developing poultry and livestock related strategy to increase programme efficiency.
∎ Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly plans for effective execution of Poultry and Livestock related programme activities.
∎ Ensure timely distribution of various enterprise specific inputs and services at field level through developing necessary planning both in supply and demand side.
∎ Development of enterprise specific budget, cash flow chart, and activity follow up mechanism for achievement of desired programme goal.
∎ Responsible for regular monitoring, supervising and tracking progress of poultry and livestock enterprises, identify challenges related to specific enterprise through regular field visit, report analysis, and special assignment in order to assist management in decision making.
∎ Explore cost effective innovative techniques in programme for sustainable achievement of desired outcomes.
∎ Capacity development of staffs and participants in poultry and livestock through providing regular and need based technical guideline, technical training (need analysis, training module, materials & guideline development), mentoring and knowledge sharing etc.
∎ Effective coordination and collaboration with relevant stakeholder to accumulate policy, research and practice related information as well as dissemination of acquired knowledge to other team members.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4 years working experience in livestock sector predominantly in any development organisation. Preferably have experience in market analysis, value chain development and business planning with successful implementation of technical knowledge.
