Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Lingerie Cutting Manager is responsible for overseeing the cutting operations in the lingerie production process. This role involves managing the cutting team, ensuring efficient and accurate cutting of fabric, maintaining high-quality standards, and coordinating with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.
∎ Supervise and lead the cutting team, including cutters, Lay Man, helpers, and other supporting staff.
∎ Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
∎ Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement and professional development.
∎ Ensure accurate cutting of fabric according to patterns and specifications.
∎ Optimize the use of fabric to minimize waste and reduce costs.
∎ Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the accuracy and quality of cut pieces.
∎ Conduct 100% inspections of cut pieces to identify and address any defects or issues.
∎ Work closely with the quality control department to ensure compliance with quality standards.
∎ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cutting efficiency and productivity.
∎ Stay updated with the latest cutting technologies and techniques.
∎ Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and improve overall production efficiency.
∎ Coordinate with the CAD and pattern-making departments to ensure accurate interpretation of patterns and specifications.
∎ Communicate effectively with other departments, such as supply chain and sewing to ensure smooth workflow and timely production.
∎ Prepare and submit regular reports on cutting operations, including productivity, quality, and inventory status.
