Job Responsibilities:
∎ To be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Compliance Department.
∎ Preparing, organizing and managing factory audits as per buyer's requirements including various social, ethical, environmental, technical, supply chain security and QMS audits.
∎ Maintain Process & Procedure on Certification of WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, C-TPAT & ISO, Better Work, OCS, GOTS, OEKO-TEX etc required as per business demand.
∎ To ensure all facilities involving health & safety specially fire safety measures and procedures.
∎ To resolve employee's grievance, stress in proactive manner and manage compliance team situations to build up good internal relationship among the employee.
∎ Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures, buyer’s CoC.
∎ To implement and monitor different buyers Code of Conduct (CoC) and various compliance issues in the facility.
∎ On-time submission of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to buyers and auditors based on audit reports.
∎ To follow-up & ensure timely implementation of all CAP submitted to customers.
∎ Preparation, review and execution of Policy and Procedure in respect of legal and statutory requirement.
∎ Preparation of training calendar and training modules for successful execution of training and development activity as per compliance requirement.
∎ To check monthly salary sheet, Maternity payment document and Final settlement documents for ensuring error free payment.
∎ To conduct section wise risk assessment training/audits.
∎ To train PC and Safety committee on risk assessment so that they can explain to compliance auditors.
∎ Monthly injury & sickness analysis, medical and childcare register, maternity and grievance register checking.
∎ Checking of personal files of workers.
∎ To conduct monthly internal compliance audit as per schedule and implementation of audit CAP.
∎ Daily floor compliance monitoring and ensuring health & safety measures are in practice.
∎ To ensure proper fire safety measures in place through periodical checking and continuous monitoring.
∎ To maintain liaison with agencies like BGMEA, Compliance auditors, Fire & Civil Defense Department (FSCD), DIFE etc.
∎ Any other task assigned by supervisor as and when required.
