∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Manager of Commercial and Logistics to oversee and streamline the end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and logistics functions of our international buying house. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient commercial operations, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing logistics to meet business objectives and client requirements.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Commercial Operations:
∎ Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with the company's goals.Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities.Prepare, review, and manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance reports.
∎ Logistics Management:
∎ Plan, manage, and coordinate international and domestic logistics operations.Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and documentation for smooth import/export operations.Evaluate and select transportation providers and ensure timely delivery of goods.Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to maintain stock availability while minimizing costs.Resolve logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, and disputes, efficiently.
∎ Team Leadership:
∎ Lead and mentor a team of logistics and commercial professionals to achieve departmental goals.Set performance targets and regularly evaluate team performance to ensure operational excellence.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
∎ Required Skills and Qualifications:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
∎ 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or commercial operations, preferably in an international buying house or similar industry.
∎ Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and global supply chain trends.
∎ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
∎ Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.
∎ Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

∎ Preferred Qualifications:
∎ Experience with handling multiple regions and international clients.
∎ Certifications in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) or related fields.
