Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitoring overall activities of Exports & Import section
∎ Coordinate with all activities with all sections of commercial department (Export, Import, Customs, Bank, Audit, BKMEA, BGMEA and EPB),
∎ Coordinate with marketing and Merchandising departments and accounts and finance depending regularly on shipment schedule and fund management activities.
∎ Responsible for monitoring overall activities of commercial department,
∎ Coordinate the activities of commercial department with other departments and outside parties like Govt. offices.
∎ Maintain strong working relationship with C&F Agent, different Shipping companies, Freight Forwarding & Logistics companies to follow up of shipment status during the Import & Export of different goods & materials.
∎ Responsible for place booking and forwarder accordingly.
∎ Responsible to collect master LC from Bank and open back-to-back LC for raw material procurement for export.
∎ Open all kinds of Import L/C i.e. BB, EDF, Cash, Machinery etc.
∎ Check all kinds of Sales Contracts, Master L/C & other Raw Materials
∎ Follow up of all Import & Export related payment issues, Fund sanction & liaising with Bank for renewal of sanctions.
∎ Candidate who have experience working IN EPZ area will get preference
