Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate or post-graduate studies in Agriculture from recognized university
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Project Management, Business Development, Distribution/ Supply Chain Management, Market Research
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee all activities of Green Innovation for resilience Building (GIRB) project.
∎ Selection of youth and formation of a strong banana fiver collection group.
∎ Provide necessary approval for all field-level transactions.
∎ Provide proper guidance to develop vertical gardening.
∎ Train farmers for producing vermicompost from the leftover of the banana trunk after collecting banana fiber.
∎ Ensure timely, high-quality implementation and support that adheres to project work plans.
∎ Facilitate banana fiber producer group for strong relationship building with CHP.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and work plans.
∎ Help Producer Groups prepare business plans to ensure more profits from the banana fiber or other raw materials value chain.
∎ Organize training for the reference people to produce craft materials and marketing.
∎ Capacity development initiatives to enhance confidence and skills among the reference people that will sustain beyond the project period.
∎ Managing and reviewing the performance of the team and individual team members.
∎ Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders especially local government, Upazila, and District administration.
∎ Prepare standard reports monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports.
∎ Contribute to reporting, monitoring, and providing technical guidance to staff members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Considerable experience in planning, Strategic thinking, Analytical skills, and Influencing and negotiation skills with different stakeholders.
∎ Result-driven personality
∎ Substantial experience (minimum 5 years) in implementing value chain or marketing projects.
∎ Confidence and belief in sustainable social-economic development through strong cooperation between private sectors and NGOs.
∎ Clear understanding of pro-poor value chain development engaging private sectors.
∎ A strong commitment to gender equality and addressing other diversity perspectives; and direct experience in supporting women's empowerment, and rights-based approaches to poverty alleviation.
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
