Job Responsibilities:
∎ Required Knowledge & Skills :
∎ The C&F agent office manager shall be fully responsible for custom clearance, port clearance, proper & safe handling, carrying & storage of the said goods & shall keep safe custody of the same on behalf of the company. The incumbent candidate shall have the following knowledge & skills.
∎ Having excellent knowledge and expertise in customs clearing & forwarding, port clearance, freight forwarding, export, and import processes etc.
∎ Good Knowledge of C&F agent license rules & regulation, CTG sea port, customs, shipping, customs duty assessment, bill of entry, bill of lading, proforma invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, SRO,HS code, customs act, import/export policy, export/import documentation, duty bond, risk bond, In-bond and Ex-bond etc.
∎ Practical Knowledge about air /sea port, entry to delivery work procedure as like Grade-A, (i) Commercial & (ii) Industrial or Bulk item (Capital Machinery, Spare Parts, Chemical and others), Grade-B, Bonded item for import /export process.
∎ Responsible to execute, co-ordinate, monitor and manage export/import works of any consignments.
∎ Co-ordinate in synchronization with government officials, banks, shipping lines, freight forwarders, & transport provider agents for clearing import consignments by road/sea.
∎ Execution of on time shipment, documentation and customs clearance of goods from port.
∎ Dealing and managing the logistics from Chittagong port to factory or any defined location.
∎ It is required to arrange for a warehouse at the port. Also need to arrange equipment and labor for loading and unloading of goods.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Strong team-driving capability.
∎ Must have a good relationship with customs, port authority & shipping agents.
∎ Experience in logistics process systems & solutions.
∎ Candidate should have proficiency in computer literacy.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Good Analytical & problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
