• 7+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, tender management, pre-sales, or business development within a software, IT services, or technology company.

• Experience handling large-scale technology bids valued at BDT 5 crore to 100+ crore.

Job Summary
An experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Bid Management to lead the end-to-end bid and proposal management process for software, IT services, digital transformation, and technology projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying bid opportunities, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing tender submissions, ensuring compliance, and maximizing bid win rates.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Strategy & Opportunity Management
• Identify, evaluate, and track tender opportunities from government, private sector, development partners, and international organizations.
• Assess bid viability, strategic fit, commercial attractiveness, and organizational capabilities.
• Lead bid qualification and bid/no-bid decision-making processes.
Tender & Proposal Management
• Manage the complete lifecycle of bids, tenders, RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and framework agreements.
• Develop bid plans, submission schedules, compliance matrices, and proposal strategies.
• Coordinate proposal development activities and ensure timely submission of high-quality bids.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with business development, pre-sales, technical, project delivery, finance, legal, procurement, and management teams.
• Gather technical, commercial, and operational inputs required for proposal preparation.
• Ensure alignment between proposed solutions, project delivery capabilities, and customer requirements.
Proposal Writing & Documentation
• Lead the preparation of executive summaries, technical proposals, methodology documents, implementation plans, and commercial responses.
• Develop compelling value propositions and win themes that differentiate the company from competitors.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and professionalism across all proposal documents.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
• Review bid documents to ensure compliance with all tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure submission packages meet customer specifications and deadlines.
• Manage bid governance, approvals, and document version control.
Pricing & Commercial Support
• Coordinate with finance and business teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Support cost estimation, commercial negotiations, and risk assessment activities.
• Ensure profitability and commercial viability of proposed solutions.
Knowledge Management
• Maintain a centralized repository of bid documents, templates, case studies, certifications, CVs, and reference projects.
• Develop reusable content and proposal assets to improve bid efficiency.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices from completed bids.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
• Monitor bid pipeline, submission status, win/loss ratios, and proposal performance.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards on bid activities and outcomes.
• Conduct post-bid reviews and analyze competitor positioning.
