Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform quality control checks and generate QC reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards in accordance to SFA's regulations
∎ Perform sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and for product improvement
∎ Conduct QC inspection for customer feedbacks
∎ Provide technical and quality related assistance to other departments, assist in marketing department's recipe, videos and photo shoot when required
∎ Perform regular internal and external product quality control and monitor their quality so as to provide timely feedback to category/supplier for improvement
∎ Compile/archive QC report related documents
∎ Assist to maintain, source and purchase QC equipment and consumables when required
∎ Assist in product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when required
∎ Assist sales or other departments with product specification, certification and quality related document requests.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by the Senior Management time to time.
∎ Foster or lead QA committee reviews with business units to lead/drive QA improvement.
∎ Develop and align QA organization with shop NPI projects and goals.
∎ Willingness and ability to learn new work roles in a timely manner.
∎ Safely and accurately manage the receiving and order fulfillment (pick/pack, ship) of parts in manufacturing, warehouse and/or distribution center locations.
∎ Perform RT-PCR reactions utilizing DNA/RNA extractions for in-process samples.
∎ Compendial Methods such as Appearance, ID, pH, Melting Point and Assay Revise documents and specifications.
∎ Provide lab support including reagent preparation, cleaning, and routine equipment maintenance.
∎ Inspect component raw materials per specification.
∎ Recognize and report aberrant test results and sample conditions.
