Responsibilities & Context: Regulatory Compliance & Policy Management :
- Ensure all administrative operations are aligned with company policies, the Bangladesh Labour Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Update, implement, and audit administrative policies, including asset use, office conduct, and administrative ethics.
- Monitor legal and compliance updates and ensure incorporation into internal policy frameworks.
Liaison with Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Bodies :
- Coordinate with legal advisors and compliance officers for licenses, audits, and labor or factory inspections.
- Serve as the administrative point of contact for government regulators (DIFE, Fire Service, City Corporations).
- Prepare and submit compliance documents and responses to official queries or notices.
Investigation & Documentation :
- Lead or support internal investigations involving policy breaches, administrative misconduct, or workplace incidents.
- Maintain secure and confidential documentation of case reports, inquiry statements, and evidence.
- Prepare investigation reports with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and forward to leadership for decision-making.
Internal Control & Risk Reporting :
- Identify risks in facility operations, workforce behavior, and documentation gaps in administrative functions.
- Develop dashboards and reports on risk trends, unresolved grievances, and audit issues.
- Ensure periodic internal control reviews and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
Grievance Procedure Management :
- Oversee the formal grievance handling process within administrative scope—staff housing, cafeteria, transport, and discipline.
- Ensure fair hearing, proper documentation, and timely closure of all grievances.
- Collaborate with HRBP and department heads to improve workplace environment and reduce conflict.
