Responsibilities & Context:

Regulatory Compliance & Policy Management :

  • Ensure all administrative operations are aligned with company policies, the Bangladesh Labour Act, and other applicable regulations.
  • Update, implement, and audit administrative policies, including asset use, office conduct, and administrative ethics.
  • Monitor legal and compliance updates and ensure incorporation into internal policy frameworks.

Liaison with Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Bodies :

  • Coordinate with legal advisors and compliance officers for licenses, audits, and labor or factory inspections.
  • Serve as the administrative point of contact for government regulators (DIFE, Fire Service, City Corporations).
  • Prepare and submit compliance documents and responses to official queries or notices.

Investigation & Documentation :

  • Lead or support internal investigations involving policy breaches, administrative misconduct, or workplace incidents.
  • Maintain secure and confidential documentation of case reports, inquiry statements, and evidence.
  • Prepare investigation reports with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and forward to leadership for decision-making.

Internal Control & Risk Reporting :

  • Identify risks in facility operations, workforce behavior, and documentation gaps in administrative functions.
  • Develop dashboards and reports on risk trends, unresolved grievances, and audit issues.
  • Ensure periodic internal control reviews and share updates with relevant stakeholders.

Grievance Procedure Management :

  • Oversee the formal grievance handling process within administrative scope—staff housing, cafeteria, transport, and discipline.
  • Ensure fair hearing, proper documentation, and timely closure of all grievances.
  • Collaborate with HRBP and department heads to improve workplace environment and reduce conflict.
