Educational Requirements:
∎ Post Graduate is required, ideally in a related field such as Agriculture, Environmental Science, Disaster Management, Forestry, Soil Science or any other related subject.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To manage the Climate Technology Park of CCDB by demonstrating the local, national and internationally established technologies and mechanisms related to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Change Adaptation (CCA).
∎ To develop Climate Change Adaptation Technologies in Park on the basis Water, Agriculture, Non Agriculture, Forestry, and Ecosystem based adaptation and Structural. Searching the new ones.
∎ To assist for developing all adaptation modules and factsheet.
∎ To develop a new concept for Climate Technology Park on the basis of Climate Change Adaptation Technology and Disaster Risk Reduction.
∎ To collect detailed information on existing DRR, CCA and CCM concepts through field visits, literature research and information gathering from other organizations on national and international level.
∎ To contribute technical expertise in the implementation of improved concepts for DRR, CCA and CCM concepts and continuously improving those for making them suitable at local and national level.
∎ In consideration of costing and effectiveness adaptation technology will be displayed for CCDB Climate Technology Park and also interested organizations for customizing and implementing in their program areas.
∎ Managing plantation program in different climatic zones of Technology Park
∎ Additionally assisting to install the mitigation technologies.
∎ Additionally assisting to landscape design for Climate Technology Park.
∎ To assist Leadership and Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification Programme that is affiliated by United Nation Green Building Council (UNGBC).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Should have experience in working with University, Research Institute.
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Should have analytical skill and problem solving ability
∎ Negotiating and managing problems and conflicts.
∎ Require skill in preparing report both in English and Bangla.
∎ Strong communication skills.
∎ Ability to operate with independence, under pressure, to meet deadlines and commitments.
∎ Proven ability to work as part of a team, and as part of a wider network, monitoring partner organization.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and ability to respect and work well with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
∎ Willingness to visit and stay at remote area.
∎ Physical Requirements: Physically and mentally sound with good health, smart, energetic, ability to work in all situation and environment.
Salary: Tk. 65000 - 70000 (Monthly)
