Responsibilities & Context:
QA Lab Duties:
Perform physical and chemical tests (thickness, tensile strength, color fastness, abrasion resistance) per SATRA standards.
Inspect raw materials, in-process leather, and finished goods for quality and shade consistency.
Maintain accurate test reports, analyze data, and assist in identifying quality deviations.
Chemical Store Duties:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming chemicals safely.
Issue materials against requisitions and maintain accurate stock records ( Bin Cards).
Monitor inventory levels and assist in periodic physical counts.
Ensure safe storage, segregation, and labeling of chemicals per MSDS and HSE guidelines.
Maintain strict 5S housekeeping in the store area.
General:
Participate in rotational training across Finishing, QA, and Supply Chain.
Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
