Education:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. in Civil Engineering).

• Fresh Diploma in Civil Engineering especially from Public Polytechnic Institutes may also apply.

• Experience will be an advantage.

• Experience in Real Estate / Construction industry will be preferred.

• Basic understanding of construction processes and site activities.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or MS Office will be an added advantage.

Job Context:

The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Construction Project/Site will undergo structured training and gain practical experience in construction project execution, site supervision, quality control, and coordination. This role is designed to develop technical and managerial competencies for future leadership positions within the organization.

• Training Period

The selected candidates will undergo a structured training period of 1 year, where they will receive hands-on exposure to real construction project/site activities under the supervision of senior engineers and project managers. During this period, trainees will rotate across different functions such as site execution, planning, quality control, and safety to build comprehensive practical knowledge and professional skills. This aligns with typical MTO programs in Bangladesh, where fresh graduates are developed through on-the-job learning and performance-based assessment.

• Review and Confirmation

Upon completion of the training/probation period, trainees will be evaluated based on performance, technical competency, discipline, and cultural fit with the organization. Based on satisfactory performance, candidates will be confirmed as permanent employees in the role of Project Engineer or equivalent position.

Job Roles:

Project Execution & Site Management

• Assist in supervising day-to-day construction activities at project sites.

• Support site engineers in ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and schedules.

• Monitor work progress and report updates to senior engineers.

Planning & Scheduling

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.

• Maintain regular communication with internal teams for smooth execution

Quality Control & Assurance

• Support quality checks and inspections under supervision.

• Assist compliance with construction standards and approved designs.

• Assist in identifying and reporting deviations in quality.

Cost Control & Material Management

• Assist in tracking material requisition as per BOQ, usage and site inventory.

• Coordinate with procurement for timely supply of materials.

• Support cost monitoring and documentation processes.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow site safety rules and assist in promoting a safe working environment.

• Participate in safety inspections and awareness initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Coordination & Communication

• Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

• Assist in maintaining approvals, drawings, and technical documents.
