Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 273 upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ ESDO in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh is implementing 34 months duration Gender Responsive School & Community Safety Initiative (GRSCSI) project in Nageswari upazilla under Kurigram district. For smooth implement the project ESDO is seeking a competent staff (female preferable) according to the following conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is reportable to Project Manager of GRSCSI project, ESDO, Nageswari, Kurigram.
∎ S/he will be responsible for program monitoring, guiding, writing and proper documentation as per project M&E framework.
∎ Independently organize & conduct training/orientation for different stakeholders.
∎ Monitor and implement the project activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Female are especially encouraged
∎ Excellent at Micro Soft Office packages related in M &E field.
∎ Ability to prepare good case study, article and report writing in English and Bangla
∎ Capable in good photography.
∎ Ability to work in char land
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license
Salary:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary Tk. 31,000/- only.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two festival bonus equivalent to 50% of monthly gross salary & Boishakhi allowance 10% of gross salary.
