Job Context:
∎ Logistics Officer-Warehouse will manage shipping, receiving and general warehousing for all goods & services from suppliers, donated goods, internal supplies and assets be responsible for ensuring the overall care and maintenance of the stored and received items and assets recording. Core responsibilities include oversight on receiving, storing, tracking, monitoring and delivering items (Food and Non-food Items) to Distribution Sites, Warehousing, and Transport Management.
∎ The majority of these items will be deliveries from the manufacturers and suppliers, donors and materials moved from other warehouses and stores in other locations. Accurate tracking and protection against pilferage, shrinkage, theft, damages and quality compromises are major factors in the work of Warehouse Staff as these records may subsequently be requested for annual audit purposes.
∎ The position ensures and oversees orders are received, stored, and tracked and all invoices are filled. They load trucks and other delivery vehicles used to distribute goods to the end user. Logistics Coordinator also often bargain with manufacturing sales people on costs, as well as load and unload trucks that deliver goods. H/She will manage daily storage operations and identify, design, and implement storage operation improvements. They will also provide ongoing communication with third party service providers and cross-functional teams to keep them abreast of any potential issues as well as efficiently responding to ministry and customer requirements.
∎ Major Areas of Responsibilities include coordination of logistic activities, exploring the most efficient and cost-effective cargo delivery systems and producing quality, quantitative statistics and narrative reports.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the Management of:
∎ Response Warehouse as per WV Standard
∎ Receive and Dispatch Commodities (Food and NFIs)
∎ Distribution of Commodities (Food and NFIs)
∎ Maintain and update Warehouse Records and ensure Warehouse Accounting System is instituted
∎ Update the expendable store inventory list and produce monthly reports.
∎ Issuance of gate passes.
∎ Maintain quality control in receipt of assets, release to user as per allocation directives, tag assets for tracking
∎ Local Air and land / sea shipment arrangements of goods.
∎ Technical management of the NTS, ERP System
∎ Peer Engagement and Customer - will regularly engage with internal program managers and suppliers. With regards to internal scm staff (Projects, Regions, WVB N.O.) This will include the establishing network and plans that link to overall program purchasing requirements, Engage with delivery of project progress reports, and the management of technical trouble shooting issues. With regards to supplier engagement, this will include leading the P2P automated process across all value spend and continuous improvement of automated processes.
∎ Teaming - will demonstrate an understanding of business, and fiscal requirements governing spend. Response Warehouse Officer will work collaboratively with Response SCM Dept. and requesting party in securing and finalizing Specifications from Requesting Parties to ensure successful implementation of all sourcing projects.

∎ At least 3-5 years relevant experience required in Strategic Sourcing for Professional Services, Contract Labor, Facilities, Construction, Corporate Services, MRO, Human Resources, Marketing services or procurement experience including telecom, hardware, software, services, technology licensing structure and license compliance, including terms and conditions.
∎ Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) desired, or ability to obtain certification within 2 years.
∎ Demonstrated success in establishing, managing and leading and large project teams which result in successful sourcing project delivery with qualitative and quantitative results.
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively deal with a fast-paced and changing environment.
∎ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the company through oral and written forms such as presentations and reports. Experience working on communication plans and change management techniques. Should be an articulate, persuasive leader who is comfortable working at all levels.
∎ Ability to develop metrics, methods and procedures which drive results across projects, and provide linkage to corporate objectives. Excellent analytical skills are required.
