Job Context:
∎ National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Logistics & Data Management Expert with Tuberculosis Program funded by Global Fund. The appointment will be made on Contractual Service Agreement basis for 10 months which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds. The position will report to Line Director (TB-L and ASP).
∎ Posting location: NTP Headquarter (Dhaka)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to NTP PSM unit and work in close collaboration with Deputy Program Manager (DPM), Procurement & Logistical Services;
∎ Upgrade electronic indent system and Warranty Information Management System (WIMS) in coordination with GF and partners; i.e. The Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (USAID/MTaPS), through accommodating NTPs/Partners requirement;
∎ Contribute in preparing training tools/materials with MTaPS and facilitate training for expansion/roll out of excel based electronic indent linked with WIMS and/or TB electronic LMIS (Logistics Management Information System);
∎ Monitor data input and output of WIMS regularly, troubleshoot and investigate accuracy with inventory control registers/physical stock and train related staffs accordingly;
∎ Adapt or modify WIMS to serve NTP needs for purposes of forecasting, planning procurement, monitoring stock status at central and service delivery level;
∎ Develop appropriate tools/checklist to measure/analysis of data input/output in WIMS;
∎ Train CWH staffs for improvement of the warehousing and distribution to facilitate preventing wastage/misuse of TB drugs and commodities;
∎ Facilitate training for field store staff on good warehousing, inventory and logistics management during WIMS roll out training and PSM training at central level;
∎ Analyze data of FLD, SLD and diagnostics (Cartridge, ZN & LED consumables kit) to receive, supply, get balance, make forecasting for coming years etc.
∎ Provide training to generate/produce correct data/reports/information for forecasting, quantification and procurement;
∎ Collect data from SLD stock and patient from MDR-TB treatment facilities;
∎ Prepare appropriate tools/technique/checklist for regular supportive supervision/ on job training etc.
∎ Validate data for comparison with Local Fund Agent (LFA) debriefing and submit to GF as supply chain indicators data/report;
∎ Conduct field visit with NTP team to study, analyze and suggest improvement for good storage, distribution and logistics data management practices at service delivery point/DOTS centers;
∎ Participate in setting of PSM related objectives/activities for National Strategic Plan (NSP);
∎ Develop/revise supply chain data management related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in coordination with MTaPS;
∎ Orient store staff in implementation of recommendation and follow-up for proper practice;
∎ Provide input in preparation of any reprogramming proposal/budget required by NTP/GF through analyzing/forecasting/compilation supply related data;
∎ Participate in NTP Partners coordination, Program Management, and other meeting as required by NTP. Take follow-up actions on recommendations made in the meetings;
∎ Liaise with NTP officials and other key stakeholders e.g. WHO, MTaPS, BRAC, and other NGO/partners to improve TB medicine and commodities supply/delivery activities in the country.

Additional Requirements:
∎ High-level analytical and logistic data interpretation skills to be applied for forecasting, early warning, planning, and implementation on procurement and supply of TB drugs and logistics;
∎ skills on report writing;
∎ High level communication skills and facilitating coordination with decision makers including NTP partners;
∎ High level of proficiency both in English and Bengali;
∎ Proficient in using a computer to retaining data, produce reports, prepare correspondence.
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in the field of TB control program, procurement and supply chain; Working experience in TB field with National or International Organization will be considered as an additional value.

Salary:
∎ 123,573/ -(consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances. No other benefit is admissible.
