Job Responsibilities:
∎ Log Management
∎ Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards
∎ Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager's supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor's instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices
∎ Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/set-up according to MSF standards
∎ Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person's task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities
∎ Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and Instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks
∎ Managing and following up orders which includes collecting logistics orders coming from different departments or health facilities; drawing up and following up orders according to the procedures in force; providing technical support to the storekeeper, makes local purchases according to MSF supply procedures and ensures reception conditions of freight or arriving material as well as the organization and setting up of materials before its shipment.
∎ Ensuring that all record sheets and books related to logistical maintenance are always completed. Prepare necessary reports before and after any repair or required maintenance.
∎ Providing day-to-day Technical support and presenting MSF standards, policies, protocols and procedures to all users. When needed, liaise with the Technical Logistic Manager for 2nd line support to ensure any incidents or problems that cannot be solved at his/her level are appropriately escalated
∎ Focal point/First contact person for ICT, Energy, WATSAN, Inventory, Communication
∎ Prioritize the task with time frame
∎ Will record all of the expenses for clear budget plan
∎ Backup & Accountable for Base & Facilities officer
∎ IT
∎ Organizing all of the file in the share drive for the team
∎ Assist & Support Base & Facilities Officer on Monitoring, maintaining and following up on all Information Technology (IT), tools and services in the projects’ base, in accordance with MSF standards, policies, protocols and procedures;
∎ Assist Base & Facilities Officer to Providing day-to-day IT support and presenting MSF standards, policies, protocols and procedures to all users. When needed, liaise with the ICT supervisor for 2nd line support to ensure any incidents or problems that cannot be solved at his/her level are appropriately escalated;
∎ Assist Base & Facilities Officer to Providing regular IT activity reports for the sites under his/her responsibility to the ICT Supervisor in line with Line Manager
∎ Energy
∎ Identify Energy problem from Central warehouse, Office & Guest house
∎ Ensures Generators and back up in BKL & KTP base & office is up to date
∎ Responsible for general maintenance and regular checks all of energy equipment in KTP and BKL office and houses
∎ Ensure the fuel reserved in every facilities in the Base
∎ Monthly receive the electricity bill from the company by visit & Record the monthly electrical bill & verified physically & Submit to Finance team to pay
∎ Security
∎ Ensure Fire extinguisher well functioned & up to date
∎ Ensure Satellite device are well functioned & well maintained
∎ Ensure Fire service number, authority number always up to date posted in the watchman room
∎ Ensure E-prep food, logistic items stored & up to date
∎ Monitor all the property in the base & report immediately if any incident happened.
∎ Reporting
∎ Providing regular Technical activity reports for the sites under his/her responsibility to the Technical Logistic Manager
∎ Immediately informing the line manager of any problems that arise in the course of the work, particularly with regard to damage, loss, theft or attempted break-ins
∎ Monthly reporting about all of the Base Logistic activity to Technical Logistic manager in on time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years in any Logistics discipline is essential.
∎ At least 1 year supervision experience is essential.
∎ MSF experience desired, but not essential.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 59347 - 71216 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level 6 of the internal MSF salary grid, which is 59,347 BDT gross. Two annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct
