Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in HR, Management, Bachelor of Law (LLB)
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PGD SCM
∎ Training/Trade Course: project procurement framework and contract life cycle
∎ Skills Required: communication and interpersonal skill., Excellent communication skill in both Bengali and English, leadarship and negotiation

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procurement and Logistics
∎ Analyze project requirements and develop procurement plans collaboratively with program managers.
∎ Take necessary steps to ensure that staff understand procurement procedures.
∎ Advise on proper control systems across the procurement process, and support line managers in conducting any investigation and audits, as needed.
∎ In collaboration with the procurement staff and Program Manager, ensure that all donor rules and regulations are followed for all donor funded projects pertinent to the procurement of services.
∎ Work in collaboration with field logistics on daily and weekly basis to ensure procurement processes are taking place timely and effectively.
∎ Responsible for assisting the Line Manager in ensuring that the Logistics and Procurement component of the programs is responsive to RAKSHA projects being implemented throughout JRRP and in line with Agrajattra standard operating guidelines.
∎ Assists in coordinating distribution arrangements and all administrative needs of logistics and procurement.
∎ Decides and guides the procurement team on the most effective and efficient procurement process based on logistics procedures and policy and the urgency of the request.
∎ Reviews purchase orders for management sign off and ensures they are timely and contain all required information to mitigate risk to organization and ensure good performance by supplier.
∎ Monitors the purchases tracking sheet and liaise with the warehouse teams to keep track of delivered and pending items.
∎ Ensures timely processing of supplier's payments based on complete or agreed performance of purchase orders or contracts.
∎ Accurately and efficiently carry out any further duties as designated or assigned by the Line Manager.
∎ Management and Reporting.
∎ Collaborate with the program team to develop procurement plans and priorities for the different projects, and periodically advise and follow up with the program teams to ensure progress on plans. In addition, develop strategies for delivery on the procurement plans agreed beforehand with the program team.
∎ Manage all service contracts including, but not limited to, vehicle hires, house and office rental, communications service providers, etc.
∎ Consolidate monthly procurement and Stock reports.
∎ Inventories and Asset Management.
∎ In close collaboration with finance teams, develop and maintain an inventory database (assets and stocks) and prepare analytical reports as needed.
∎ Institute and oversee the physical count of assets and inventory on a periodic basis.
∎ Ensure all assets are identified recorded, and tracked with secure asset register.
