Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Management Officer to oversee and optimize our supply chain and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of goods, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a deep understanding of logistics processes.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt and dispatch of goods.
∎ Manage in house trucks and trawlers and as well as third party logistics.
∎ Optimize transportation routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
∎ Maintain detailed report on logistic spare parts requirements and daily record of spare parts availability at workshop.
∎ Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Maintain Truck Drivers and Trawler Majhi trip records and salary calculation.
∎ Track Delivery and resolve any issues related to delays or damages.
∎ Ensure compliance with local, state related to logistics and transportation.
∎ Prepare and maintain accurate reports on logistics activities, including costs, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
∎ Implement and maintain logistics management software and systems.
∎ Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
∎ Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
∎ Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
