Job Context:
∎ YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) www.ypsa.org is an organization for sustainable development working in greater Chattogram division since 1985 with a vision to build a society without poverty where everyone`s basic needs and rights are ensured. YPSA is implementing UNICEF Bangladesh supported a project title "Child Centered Care Response to Rohingya Adolescents (Boys and Girls) in Cox`s Bazar Project".
∎ YPSA invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position.
∎ Job location: Ukhiya upazilla under Coxs bazar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide support to logistics operations and activities, following standard processes and contributing, directly or indirectly to the effective delivery.
∎ Coordinate requisitioning and ensure timely delivery of commodities and supplies to authorized partners and destinations.
∎ Manage logistics vendors' contracting activities including performance monitoring and measurement.
∎ Prepare contract for the transport of food and non-food items in both emergency and development operations.
∎ Prepare, monitor and revise budget for all delivery modalities, ensuring adherence to relevant procedures and in compliance with corporate standards.
∎ Monitor inventory management processes to track trends and account for the inventory status from source to beneficiary.
∎ Manage documentation processing for execution of logistics operations.
∎ Supervise the work of support staff, providing practical advice and guidance, to ensure individual and team objectives are delivered to agreed standards and deadlines for all assistance modalities.
∎ Support logistics emergency preparedness and response activities including Logistics Capacity Assessment and Contingency Plan

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 years job experience as a logistic associate or similar functions at any NGO
∎ Ability to communicate in local dialect (Chittagonian Dialect).
∎ Sound knowledge of logistics
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS Excel, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Salary:
∎ Monthly consolidated salary BDT 26,000 with other benefits as per project budget
