Educational Requirements:
∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry preferably MS Degree from any public university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and implementing the activities of livestock unit.
∎ Responsible for implementing the activities of Black Bengal Goat (BBG) breeding farm, Dumba breeding farm and Sheep breeding farm
∎ Maintain financial, operational and production records for farms.
∎ Capacity development of staffs and participants through providing regular and need based technical guideline, technical training, mentoring and knowledge sharing etc.
∎ Establish different demonstration plot, dissemination of different new technology, give technical support to the farmers.
∎ Ensure timely distribution of various inputs and services at field level.
∎ Responsible for regular monitoring, supervising and tracking progress of livestock related intervention, identify problems through regular field visit, report analysis and special assignment in order to assist management in decision making.
∎ Relation building and maintain linkage with poultry & livestock related private, public and NGO sector.
∎ Prepare, verify and send quarterly replenishment of the project to the donor agency.
∎ Prepare report, case studies and document best practice as per WAVE Foundation office and donor requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 42 years
∎ Minimum 2 years' experience preferably farm management
∎ Ability in communicating with relevant stakeholders
∎ Ability to conduct action research
∎ Good report writing skill in Bangla & English
∎ Good Computer skill
∎ Motor Cycle driving skill with valid driving license.
∎ Job location: Koshaghata, Chuadanga
Salary: Tk. 35000 - 40000 (Monthly)
