Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversees and coordinate the operation of all the MPWC and WDF.
∎ Provide technical and managerial supervision to the staffs including giving guidance, advice on their work, maintain attendance record and monitor and evaluate their performance.
∎ Implement project activities in accordance with the project guidelines and targets (Community mobilization, identifying livelihood skills & income generation opportunities)
∎ Coordinate activities between target group, consultant, local actors, government, Private sector & training institute and available resources
∎ Design work plans and manage the implementation of protection and livelihoods interventions in the targeted camps and host community women ensure project targets are met according to workplan deadlines, and that the project is adequately resourced to carry out effective programming.
∎ Plan training method and Development training module
∎ Lead on the development of a strategy for Rohingya livelihoods activities, with emphasis on responses to the perceived needs, as indicated by the communities, beneficiaries, and at times the camp management
∎ Support the quality control means provided by the line manager, and ensure the reporting about capacity gaps
∎ Gather and report marketplace information, communicate organization message to the communities.
∎ Organize quarterly linkage meeting with local service provider, market committee & value chain actor.
∎ Organize Training on Skill and Business Development for women leaders
∎ Identify women from host community and provide seed fund.
∎ Prepare beneficiary selection criteria as per project design.
∎ Ensure Meeting with private sector, training institutions and local government on explore partnership
∎ Manage target group expectations by setting participatory action plans, risk analysis and long-term milestones
∎ Proactively engage in activities intended to strengthen people's access to and utilization of resources available, and any acceptable means to ensure their livelihoods, including food security in the camp context, and also activities focus on the host community context (which may require different approaches and design)
∎ Ensure that M&E frameworks and standards are integrated within the programme and regularly implemented. Ensure that the range of M&E processes are implemented on time, including: verification surveys and follow up surveys for livelihoods beneficiaries, mid-line and end-line evaluations, where appropriate.
∎ Take lead in the development of livelihoods indicators and relevant monitoring and evaluation instruments and provide real time technical advice to project staff through direct field visits.
∎ Submit monthly and quarterly reports by collection of information and data from the field, data analysis, and reporting documentation.
∎ Design, develop and provide necessary training for target communities to develop skills and capacities on livelihood strategies and viable options for income and food security and better nutrition.
∎ Provide capacity-building for staff: technical support, organizing training, and preparing training manuals for staff.
∎ Ensure that technical standards are continuously updated based on evidence and learning processes.
∎ Prepare technical specifications, SOP/Guidelines and QA guidelines.
∎ Ensure protection mainstreaming in all of BRAC interventions. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong livelihood, cash programming and emergency response in working in complex, protracted emergences in a challenging work environment
∎ Experience of work in Protection GBV sector in emergency humanitarian crisis situations is an added advantage.
∎ Experience in managing teams, conducting performance assessments and providing guidance to team members is necessary.
∎ Experience in writing proposals and liaising with donors is necessary.
∎ Experience in creating and managing MIS systems, budgets and results frameworks is necessary
