Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Represent clients before subordinate courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities, including the preparation and presentation of pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documents.
∎ Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic input on matters involving civil, commercial, banking, and administrative law.
∎ Draft and review case files, witness statements, and legal opinions with a focus on procedural compliance and evidentiary standards.
∎ Maintain and update case files and litigation databases.
∎ Prepare regular litigation status reports for management and legal leadership.
∎ Coordinate with external law firms and advocates for case updates and strategy.
∎ Monitor litigation timelines and ensure timely filing of documents.
∎ Liaise with clients, witnesses, and court officials to ensure effective case management and timely progression of matters.
∎ Support senior associates and partners in trial preparation, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
∎ Qualifications:Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bangladesh Bar Council.2–5 years of experience in litigation, either in a law firm or in-house legal department LL.B. (Hons.) from a recognized university; additional LL.M. or Bar-at-Law (England & Wales) is an asset.Proven skills in legal drafting, statutory interpretation, and analysis of case law.Excellent communication, research, and organizational abilities.High standards of professional integrity, discretion, and commitment to ethical legal practice.
∎ Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bangladesh Bar Council.

∎ The desired Associate shall be primarily responsible for dealing with local litigation matters, including but not limited to:
