Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Drafting and reviewing of legal documents.
∎ Taking all necessary legal action/initiative to recover loan from SAJIDA Microfinance Borrowers.
∎ Provide all necessary support in legal actions/matters regarding any other matter connected to SAJIDA.
∎ Conduct branch visits on a regular basis and maintain a strong relationship with Microfinance staffs, panel lawyers, court staffs, District, Upazila & Union Parishad administration.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Draft and review of legal documents (i.e. GD, FIR, Complaint Petition, Plaint and Written Statement) and provide legal opinion on criminal and civil matters
∎ Visit the member as well as guarantor before filing the case and select the nature of case to be filed
∎ Take necessary initiative to ensure the Hazira, witness along with others legal stage by the complainant.
∎ Take necessary initiative to execute warrant of arrest and warrant of proclamation & attachment.
∎ Take necessary initiative, according to the approval of management, regarding any theft, extortion, affray, cheating, making false documents and any others legal problems.
∎ Select potential Panel Lawyers, review Panel Lawyers performance and take necessary initiative for speedy disposal of the filed cases.
∎ Maintain liaison with Panel Lawyers and monitor court activities related to SAJIDA.
∎ Keeping track of legal issues and cases, maintain legal data base of all legal issues and cases.
∎ Maintain and archive necessary legal documents, filed and registers.
∎ Provide update report of every pending cases, legal notice, recovered loan amount to the management to keep the management informed as directed and requested
∎ Maintain liaison, coordination and provide legal assistance to different programmes, departments and projects of SAJIDA
∎ Maintain strong networking with different Court officials, Regulatory Authorities, Law enforcing agencies, other Govt. officials, Human Rights organization, GLAF and other legal service provider to provide appropriate legal services
∎ Arrange, attend and facilitate various types of meeting, training and department programmes.
∎ To do/assist any other day to day functions as and when required by the Head of the Department
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3 years related proven practicing experience in courts.
∎ Bar council license is mandatory.
∎ Ability to work autonomously, take initiatives, manage priorities.
∎ The candidates must have demonstrated leadership quality, , proven administrative and financial management competence and excellent communication and social skills.
∎ Good English writing and communication skills,
∎ Good knowledge on IT Services, Systems and Applications especially MS Office with skills in analyzing data using spreadsheet/software packages;
∎ Good understanding of legal system and development systems;
∎ Willingness to conduct frequent field trips to districts and communities.
Salary: Tk. 28000 - 35000 (Monthly)
