∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to strengthen UPG Programme's MEAL system and provide strategic direction to ensure progress, impacts, and successes of programme activities and performance at all levels. In addition to that s/he will be responsible for overseeing resource mobilisation and learning process for strategy development, generating new solutions and ensuring their implementation with quality and impact.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Provide strategic leadership in designing and implementing integrated M&E system to ensure quality of BRAC's Ultra-Poor Graduation programme.
∎ Raise significant resources from existing and new donors to continue programming at scale in Bangladesh and beyond.
∎ Support the review and revision of the programme's strategy based on evidence from implementation, evaluations and further formative researches.
∎ Oversee a range of learning and development efforts through advancing the UPG programme's own research and evaluation.
∎ Continue a culture of continuous learning and sharing within programme.
∎ Ensure capacity development and performance management of respective staff i.e., set objectives, manage performance against those objectives, need assessment, provide training, follow up etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Skillful in working with large donors.
∎ A proven strategic leader in the development field with demonstrated ability to ensure quality and impact of large and complex programmes.
∎ knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, guidelines and tools for monitoring and evaluation.
∎ In depth knowledge on poverty dynamics and livelihood programmes.
∎ Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc.
∎ Minimum 10 years of development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing MEAL system of large and complex programmes. A person with experience in fundraising will be favored.
