∎ Masters of Law (LLM) from any Reputed University with good academic result.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Law Officer will perform a variety of important tasks. Monitoring all legal affairs within the Company including internal and external legal matters and are tasked with doing everything to protect the interest of the Company.
∎ Job Location: Tejgaon (Head Office), Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Initiate legal proceedings as required by the Company I.e. prepare writs, defenses, submissions and other pleading in civil and criminal cases.
∎ Prepare file and plead cases in commercial court in pursuit of amount owed to the Company.
∎ Advice on civil and criminal matters that should be directed to Legal Retainer.
∎ Maintain all the legal files, documents of the Company and provide report as and when required.
∎ Drafts and/or review legal letters, contracts and agreements and monitor the Company and submit quarterly work reports to management.
∎ Provide sound legal advice to the Company and make recommendations to Management as and when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Member of BAR Council and any BAR Association.
∎ Minimum 3 (Three) years of Court practice along with ability to file both the civil and criminal suit.
∎ Proficient in Bangladesh Labor Law.
∎ Good command in Company/Corporate Law.
∎ Ability to prepare complex legal documents both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skill both in Bangla and English.
∎ Computer knowledge is essential.
∎ Knowledge of all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
∎ Strong negotiation skills.
