Educational Requirements:
∎ Three years' Diploma in Medical Technology from any recognized institution.
∎ Any third division/ class in academic career will lead to ineligibility.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning:
∎ a. Participate in planning, of laboratory set up.
∎ b. Participate in quality assurance planning of the laboratory.
∎ c. Plan & prepare annual & quarterly logistics requirements for the laboratory.
∎ d. Support preparing quality assurance tools & guidelines in the line with the national guidelines.
∎ e. Support higher management in decision making.

∎ Implementation:
∎ a. Maintain essential safety measures for infection control in the laboratory.
∎ b. Maintain optimum standard in smearing and microscopy following the SOP and guidelines.
∎ c. Ensure maintenance of microscope and other laboratory equipment's as per the SOP and guidelines.
∎ d. Ensure availability of anti TB drugs, reagents and other logistics at the laboratory.
∎ e. Refer presumptive and complicated cases to designated facilities for further diagnosis.
∎ f. Support EQA and slide rechecking.
∎ g. Ensure hygienic disposal of waste materials.
∎ h. Conduct 4 outreach smearing centers at the field in every month.
∎ i. Maintain contact tracing register for active case findings and refer presumptive cases to nearby diagnostic facility.
∎ j. Assist govt. MT (Lab.) at UHC lab, whenever necessary.
∎ k. Any other job as required by the project.

∎ Monitoring, Supervision and coordination:
∎ a. Maintain regular coordination with related stake holders.
∎ b. Periodic monitoring of the laboratory (for EQA technician).
∎ c. Check the randomize slides and provide the result as first controller (for EQA Technician).
∎ Reporting and dissemination:
∎ a. Record results in respective forms and registers and report promptly to the requesting staff.
∎ b. Ensure complete and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting as per the guidelines.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to work independently and in a team.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skill.
∎ Good oral and written communication skill.
∎ Good eyesight to read microscopy.
∎ Willing ness to conduct outreach smearing Centre at the field.
∎ Minimum 2 year of experience in relevant field.
∎ Age: Not exceeding 35 years.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 12,075/= (Twelve thousand seventy-five) only per month and no other benefits.
