Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Molecular Biology
∎ Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in aquaculture or related fields.
∎ Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, DNA/RNA extraction).
∎ Familiarity with microbiological testing and pathogen screening.
∎ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data recording and reporting.
∎ Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
∎ Knowledge of aquaculture systems and practices is a plus.

∎ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes.
∎ Conduct studies to genetically improve strains/breed and develop pathogen-free parent stock.
∎ Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
∎ Collaborate with hatchery staff to implement health and nutrition programs.
∎ Record, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights for hatchery improvement.
