Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Depending on the requirement, the job location could be split between GIZ Office, Dhaka and Department of Inspections for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) Office, Dhaka
∎ Contract Duration till: December 2024
∎ Band: 4T
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years in relevant occupational experience with international exposure (or 8 years at the country level) in the development cooperation sector
∎ 3 years of professional experience in coordination of projects within related to the Ministry of Labour and Employment
∎ In depth knowledge of human and labour law standards and compliance at company level and in global supply chains, especially in the RMG industry
∎ experience in communication with federal ministries/ policy advice and in cooperation with other donors would be an asset
∎ ability to work well under pressure and must be a strong team player
∎ must have good interpersonal and communication skills
∎ fluency in English is essential
∎ ability to work in an intercultural environment
∎ good organizational skills and management expertise
∎ strong quantitative skills
∎ willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed - corresponding measures are agreed with management
