Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure timely follow-up on import consignments.
∎ Coordinate with banks, shipping agents, and BKMEA, ensuring smooth cargo delivery.
∎ Oversee customs clearance processes at Chittagong Sea Port and Dhaka Airport, working closely with C&F agents to expedite timelines.
∎ Manage all logistics activities related to imports efficiently and effectively.
∎ Maintain organized and accurate files and registers for all related tasks.
∎ Stay updated on applicable HS codes to ensure compliance.
∎ Monitor and follow up on all import-export activities with dedication and integrity.
∎ Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management.
