Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Assistant Manager – IE to lead Industrial Engineering and process optimization within our Cap manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in headwear or apparel manufacturing.
Process Optimization: Analyze and streamline sewing, embroidery, cutting, inspection, and finishing workflows to eliminate production bottlenecks.
Work Measurement: Conduct time/motion studies and SMV/SAM calculations to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Line Management: Direct machinery layouts, operation breakdowns, resource allocation, and line balancing to optimize production flow.
Performance Tracking: Monitor line efficiency, evaluate individual operator performance, and implement targeted training programs.
Planning & Execution: Lead IE and capacity planning activities to hit daily production targets and ensure on-time shipments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Quality, HR, and audit teams to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Reporting & Analytics: Utilize operational KPIs to generate daily, weekly, and monthly production and efficiency reports for management.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Management.
