Responsibilities & Context:
Help users (students, researchers, or the public) locate books, digital resources, or reference materials.
Assist with library membership, loans, returns of book, and storage/preservation.
Organize, Shelve, and maintain books, periodicals, and multimedia materials.
Assist in cataloging new acquisitions and updating records.
Handle clerical tasks like filing, data entry, and inventory checks.
Process interlibrary loans or reserve requests.
Support users with digital tools (e-resources, databases, or library software).
Help maintain library equipment (printers, scanners, or computers).
Assist in organizing reading programs, workshops, or literacy events.
Promote library services through displays or social media updates.
Ensure the library space is tidy and signage is current.
Follow copyright, licensing, and data protection rules for materials
