Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) or a closely related field.

Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Python for system modeling and analysis.

Good knowledge of power system analysis, operation, and planning.

Familiarity with hydrogen energy systems, including electrolyzes, fuel cells, storage methods, and their application in smart/renewable grids.

Previous publication history.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with optimization techniques and control systems for energy applications.

Knowledge in grid integration of renewable energy sources.

Familiarity with tools such as PSCAD, PSS®E, or similar simulation platforms.

Understanding of current trends and challenges in hydrogen economy and decarbonization of power systems.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assist in the design, modeling, and simulation of power and hydrogen energy systems.

  • Develop and validate simulation models using MATLABSimulink, and Python.

  • Conduct literature reviews to support research in hydrogen generation, storage, distribution, and its integration into electrical grids.

  • Analyze data from simulations and real-time systems to evaluate performance and efficiency.

  • Prepare technical reports, visualizations, and presentations for research findings.

  • Collaborate with faculty members, senior researchers, and industry partners on ongoing energy systems projects.

  • Support the preparation of academic publications, grant proposals, and project documentation.
