Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc / Diploma in Nursing degree from any recognised public/private college with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure conduction of timely training and make lesson plans
∎ Maintain attendance sheet of learners and follow up accordingly
∎ Collaborate with the doctors of Centre for Palliative Care Unit, BSMMU and relevant organisations
∎ Develop mid-term and final questionnaires for the assessment test, to aid the instructor and doctor
∎ Conduct learners’ assessment test in collaboration with BSMMU and other partner hospitals and home based care service providers to aid the instructor and doctor
∎ Make monthly report and provide it to relevant channels
∎ Communicate with partner organisations during the internship period of learners
∎ Conduction of research for identifying the new scopes, redressal of gaps for the improvement of the training to aid the instructor and doctor
∎ Maintain communication with the BRAC Head Office
∎ Demonstrate practical use of medical equipment’ and conduct field visit as per requirement
∎ Maintain attendance record of the learners and modify learner selection criteria
∎ Document result in the excel sheet and deliver to the supervisor
∎ Identification of the training scopes, gaps, potential solutions, and learners’ feedback.
∎ To aid instructor (Doctor) preparation of training modules and contents as per requirement
∎ Demonstrate the use of medical equipment/ dressing before the learners as per the requirement of master trainer
∎ Conduct day to day training and closely communicate with learners
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous experience in working at hospitals in the wards of palliative care, geriatric care and physiotherapy will be given preference
∎ Knowledge on medicine, physiology, human anatomy, palliative care, clinical terms and use of different medical instruments
∎ Knowledge on physiotherapy
∎ Familiarity and strong practical skills in operation of different medical instruments
∎ Ability to collect data from the learners
∎ Good report writing, presentation and documentation skills
∎ High efficiency in MS Office tools
∎ Proficiency in facilitating/conducting training
∎ Strong communication skill in both English and Bangla
