Responsibilities & Context:
- To work towards improving the quality of work and the living conditions of the workers, and to make necessary recommendations to the appropriate authorities for their welfare.
- To ensure proper attention is given to worker welfare facilities, including the canteen, rest room, children’s care center, adequate toilets and washrooms, and safe drinking water.
- To place any individual or collective grievances of the workers before the concerned authorities for timely and proper resolution.
