• Experience implementing USAID monitoring, evaluation, and learning initiatives preferred.

• Familiarity with USAID policy and guidance with respect to monitoring and evaluation preferred.

IT Officer

Democracy International (DI) is seeking to hire an IT Officer for the USAID funded Responsive Local Governance (RLG) Activity in Bangladesh, based in Dhaka, operating in Rangpur. The goal of the Activity is catalyzing change within Bangladesh’s local governance system necessitates investment to strengthen Local Elected Government Institutions (LEGI) capacity, improve civil society and citizen participation in governance structures, and bolster multisectoral coordination for quality service delivery. The specific objective of this Activity is to develop LEGIs as an effective, responsive, inclusive, and accountable institution to address social issues and provide quality basic services to the most marginalized. This is a full-time position based in Dhaka. This position is only open to the citizens of Bangladesh.

Essential Job Duties:

• Plan, Design and Develop complete computer programs and systems for various activities and projects, create and maintain DI – Bangladesh website, DI internet and database, and disseminate approved information about systems and configure programs developed for DI staff, program partners, donors, and other stakeholders.

• Windows, Office 365 troubleshooting

• Maintain and update the project’s servers and web apps 

• Manage all Office 365 licenses

• Manage all Windows licenses

• Ensure data backup

• Provide technical support

• Provide assistance to implement events, workshops and other program activities.

• Maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment

• Maintain IT security

• Keep all websites up to date
