Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, servers, and software.
ERP/Software Support: Managing specialized garments ERP software, including user access, data integrity, and training.
CAD System Maintenance: Supporting Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems (e.g., Gerber, Lectra) for pattern making and marker planning.
Technical Support: Assisting employees with IT-related issues to prevent downtime in production, merchandising, and, in some cases, the cutting section.
Security & Data Backup: Ensuring data security, protecting against viruses, and performing regular backups of critical production data.
System Integration: Integrating production floor machines and barcode systems with the central IT network.
Required Skills:
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in CAD techniques, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
Experience: Familiarity with software like Lectra, Optitex, or Gerber.
Communication: Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users
