Having android mobile set & capable to operate, it is mandatory.
Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary
Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
Overall manage and support Interactive Popular Theater (IPT) groups at Upazila levels to disseminate key SBC messages, including MNCAH, through IPT Show.
Ensure quality theatre performances through group formation, script development, and incorporation of MNCAH and adolescent rights issues etc.;
Organize and facilitate IPT workshop and produce drama/interactive popular theatre as per the project’s needs and objectives;
Integrate community feedback into IPT content, adapting scripts and performances to reflect local needs, cultural context, and priority health and social issues;
Provide leadership and technical support to IPT groups to ensure effective implementation of performances and to disseminate SBC key messages in targeted areas;
Strengthen capacity of IPT performers through regular coaching, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure effective message delivery and audience engagement;
Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with relevant government of Bangladesh (gob) sectors, local government institutions (LGIs), NGOs, religious leaders, and other stakeholders;
Coordinate with UNICEF focal person, line departments, Upazila administration, UH&FPO and UFPO to ensure effective implementation of IPT shows;
Compile and submit Upazila and District-wise reports in accordance with the project plan and within specified timelines to the PC;
Manage and support IPT groups within the budget framework, promptly communicating any deviations to the PC and preparing adjustments as needed;
Act as a representative of the SBC team, participating in various meetings, workshops, and seminars in accordance with the guidance provided by the PC;
Conduct regular field visits within working areas, providing necessary technical support and ensuring the quality implementation of interventions;
Preparing monthly plan, ensuring timely submission and alignment with project goals;
Develop and document case studies, success stories, and failure stories as required, highlighting key project outcomes and lessons learned;
Co-ordinate and participate in various day observances, both national and international, related to SBC project;
Support to Upazila coordinators to arrange events in the community;
Assist in budget monitoring, inventory management, and procurement of necessary equipment;
Inventories and requisitions supply and equipment; recommends the purchase of new equipment;
Report to the line manager on a regular basis to give an update on artistic activity and the impact of interactive theatre;
He/she will be the responsible to develop IPT scripts on MNCAH, EPI, VAC, child marriage, emergency preparedness, and climate change;
Provide practical training and rehearsal to peer leader groups on IPT show/drama;
Monitored and supervised IPT peer leader teams regularly, ensuring both quality and quantity of performances.
